Hi, I’m John!

I’m an outdoor lover to the core and bring an adventurous take to photographing people in life’s biggest moments. I like to notice the little things, document them authentically and build genuine connections while doing so. I originally moved to Colorado to work as a backpacking guide for a wilderness therapy program. In my off time, I started getting more opportunities to work with my camera in both the wedding world and the music scene. I’m now full time in love with being a journalistic photographer of everything that makes me feel alive.

There’s nothing more special than being part of documenting some of life’s biggest moments for couples through their engagements, elopements and weddings.

Adventure is so much of who I am - I moved to Durango to work as a backpacking guide for a wilderness therapy program helping adolescents find themselves in nature.

I love capturing the moments and connections that musicians have the power to create whether it’s backstage or from the crowd.
